RAMCHECK Plus Memory Tester
Low-cost device tests DDR, PC150/133/100 and
other memory types Houston, Texas - August 15, 2002 - INNOVENTIONS, Inc., the leading manufacturer of standalone, portable computer memory testers, is now shipping the RAMCHECK Plus memory tester for DDR and all common 168-pin SDRAM memory modules.
"People who handle a lot of PC memory - repair technicians, IT workers, resellers, manufacturers - have been asking for a portable tester that is high-quality, yet affordable. Since many testers cost $10,000 and more, RAMCHECK Plus offers a good alternative," said David Y. Feinstein, President of INNOVENTIONS. "PC133/100 memory is standard in machines built during the past few years, but DDR is quickly becoming the memory of choice for new PC's. It's important to have a versatile memory checker that can test new as well as old memory formats."
RAMCHECK Plus tests PC2700/2100/1600 (also known as PC-333, PC-266, and PC-200) DDR modules, including Registered and Unbuffered DIMMs, as well as PC150/133/100 SDRAM. It requires no special setup and is simple to operate due to its intuitive user interface and easy-to-use Zero Insertion Force test sockets.
During each test, the memory module's size, structure and type are automatically detected. RAMCHECK Plus quickly spots bad memory chips and alerts the user with a warning tone and visual signal. The stand-alone RAMCHECK Plus tester can be upgraded via the Internet, and includes a free communications software package to log and print test results via PC.
The RAMCHECK Plus is available for immediate delivery. Optional adapters are available for use with RAMCHECK Plus, including adapters for 30/72-pin SIMMs, SO-DIMM "laptop PC" memory, 100-pin SODIMM laser printer memory and memory chips.
