As we continue to improve our memory testers, we frequently offer free firmware and software upgrades to our registered users via the Internet. Such improved firmware and software make the test algorithms better and add numerous features. However, the continuous changes in memory technology require us also to periodically make various hardware and component changes in our products. Such hardware improvements provide new value and capabilities to our products, extending their useful lives and allowing them to extend their previous specification. For example, a hardware upgrade that may consist of adding or changing existing components might be required in order to allow the DDR2 adapter to reach 866MHz operation. Obviously, we cannot provide hardware upgrades through the Internet - the product must be sent to the factory or to the distributor. We have created several factory calibration and upgrade processes at affordable fixed prices to allow our customers to upgrade their products to the current technology level.

We recommend that you have your unit calibrated and upgraded every 12-18 months to make sure that it remains current to factory production specifications and operates at its most optimum level. In addition to periodic calibration, you may need to obtain a factory upgrade in order to incorporate a new feature which was not available when you originally purchased the product.
