This documents lists the SPD support for the various DIMMCHECK adapters. See SIMCHECK II SPD MANAGEMENT manual addendum for SPD operational instructions.
The Sync DIMMCHECK 168 Adapter (p/n INN-8558-6) has full SPD Management support.
The DIMMCHECK 144P PRO adapter (p/n INN-8558-2) has full SPD Management support.
The DIMMCHECK 168P PRO adapter (p/n INN-8484-10) manuafactured after December 97 has full SPD Management support. Older units will require the replacement of its two socketed PAL chips. The replacement chips are marked "-1" for the U1 PAL chip, and "-2" for the U2 PAL chip. IF YOUR ADAPTER HAS CHIPS with such marking - it can support SPD. Previous PAL chips used by the DIMMCHECK 168P PRO that have no marking will need to be replaced in order to support the SPD function (Please order p/n INN-8484-10-KIT1).
The SPD viewer is not supported on the regular DIMMCHECK 168P (p/n INN-8484-9).
