1. Q. Which optional adapters are available for the RAMCHECK LX?
   A. Please review the adapters list to see our solutions to test DDR2 and DDR modules, individual chips, SO-DIMMs, and many other devices. We continue to develop more adapters.
   
   
2. Q. Are adapters from the RAMCHECK product line compatible with RAMCHECK LX?
   A. Yes. Any adapter that will work on the older RAMCHECK will work on the RAMCHECK LX. The only exception is the very old (circa 2002) DDR Series adapter, which will need to be upgraded.
   
   
3. Q. Are adapters from the SIMCHECK II PLUS product line compatible with RAMCHECK LX?
   A. No. Only RAMCHECK Adapters have the specific wiring that is needed to work with RAMCHECK LX. There is also a physical incompatibility in the connectors of the SIMCHECK II PLUS adapters and the RAMCHECK LX expansion ports. However, we do offer low-cost factory upgrades to convert popular SIMCHECK II adapters to the RAMCHECK level.
   
   
4. Q. Can I acquire the adapter port pin out list so that I can interface my own custom adapter for RAMCHECK LX?
   A. In order to acquire the pin out list for RAMCHECK LX's ports, you will need to sign a standard Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Please refer to RAMCHECK's Application Note 2: Customer-Made Adapters for RAMCHECK for further information.
   
   
5. Q. Can RAMCHECK LX test Fully-Buffered (FB-DIMM) or RAMBUS devices?
   A. Not at this time. We will continue to monitor customer demand to determine if support is warranted. For technical details about FB-DIMM testing, please see this page.
