RAMCHECK® DDR 200-pin S.O. DIMM Converter

The RAMCHECK DDR 200-Pin Converter (p/n INN-8668-6-1) is a perfect low-cost solution for testing modern laptop DDR memory. The converter plugs directly into the 184-pin RAMCHECK DDR main adapter, providing you with fast, convenient testing capabilities. Please note that you must have the DDR 184 Adapter in order to use this converter. It works with both the RAMCHECK and RAMCHECK LX.

This converter tests DDR SODIMM modules complying with current JEDEC standards. It uses an inexpensive production socket found on PC motherboards, not the heavy-duty Yamaichi test socket used on our other adapters, and is rated for a small number of insertions before it wears out. The number of insertions varies, depending on the care taken when inserting and removing the SO-DIMMs from the converter, and the converter is sensitive to excessive force. Therefore, we cannot offer any warranty on the test socket. Please note that if you are testing a large volume of SODIMM modules, a discounted 3-pack of converters is available.

The RAMCHECK tester automatically detects the presence of the converter indicating "RAMCHECK DDR SERIES" during power on. The module size, structure, and type are automatically detected, without the need for user's setup. Test flow of the DDR modules follows our standard Basic Test, Extensive Test, and Auto-Loop process. It is similar to the RAMCHECK test flow for SDRAM, so there is no need for special training.

Please note that generic motherboard SO-DIMM "extenders" will not work with the DDR 184-pin adapter. Third-party extenders are not designed to work with INNOVENTIONS test equipment and they lack the proper wiring and circuitry. We do not provide support for these extenders.
