INNOVENTIONS Launches 200-pin
DDR SO-DIMM

device tests new DDR SO-DIMM "laptop" memory format Houston, Texas - June 16, 2003 - INNOVENTIONS, Inc., the leading manufacturer of standalone, portable computer memory testers, is now shipping a low-price converter that allows for affordable testing of new 200-pin DDR SO-DIMM memory modules. The converter works with the company's RAMCHECK Plus and RAMCHECK DDR Only memory testers.
"The switch from older 144-pin SO-DIMM memory technology to the new 200-pin DDR format is occurring faster than expected," said David Y. Feinstein, President of INNOVENTIONS. "Prices for DDR laptop memory have dropped dramatically over the past year, causing a surge in demand for the newer technology."

The 200-pin DDR Converter tests PC333, PC266, and PC200 DDR modules. It works only with INNOVENTIONS' RAMCHECK Plus and RAMCHECK DDR Only memory testers. The converter requires no special setup and is simple to operate.
During each test, the memory module's size, structure and type are automatically detected. The tester quickly spots bad memory chips and alerts the user with a warning tone and visual signal. The stand-alone RAMCHECK Plus and RAMCHECK DDR Only testers can be upgraded with free firmware upgrades via the Internet, and include a PC communications software package to log and print test results.
For current RAMCHECK Plus or RAMCHECK DDR Only users, the 200-pin DDR Converter retails for $175 and is available for immediate delivery.
